  As a shopper, I despise pushy sales philosophies and the companies that promote them. No, I don’t dislike the people at all – just the policy. So, when my wife and I walked into American Furniture we couldn’t have been more shocked. Not one employee crowded us or bothered us or did anything at all beyond saying hello and inquiring as to whether we needed direction. After hearing no, they actually left us alone to do our shopping. We made our way easily through their store and found exactly what we wanted without pressure or one word being uttered we didn’t want to hear. It was an genuinely pleasant shopping experience. It’s a shame more businesses don’t follow American Furniture’s lead and just let their salespeople excel at closing the deal – not creating it from scratch. Nathanael was incredibly professional, informative, and expedient when we asked him to be and nothing other than respectful before. Thanks American Furniture! That’s the kind of no-pressure, hassle-free sale we enjoy and we’ll be back whenever we need high-quality furniture without the stress. Even after calling back with a few questions both the manager and the associate Jessica were extremely professional. We will be back.

  Not sure what was going on the day we were there but customer service was AWFUL. The smug better-than-you warehouse stockers were gathered unmoving like a pack of seagulls. Inside there was no one to help us. Fortunately Estelle at customer service did a great job and helped us fight corporate customer service who denied us a refund because they lied about why their beds snap.. In the end we walked out with a replacement and it was all good.

  Dear Mr Jake Jabs. i could not be more disappointed in anything i have ever bough here. On Saturday i spent 6 hours buying and picking up an chair and oversized couch n several trips. I did not do delivery for a reason, I wanted the family room to look all set up and new for Christmas. The couch only had 5 legs to it and since the couch is extra-long, it should have had extra support in the middle back-side of the couch. On Christmas Eve, three normal size people were evenly spaced on the couch and the support across the back cracked in half. The couch was just 24 hrs old and this had been the first time anyone sat on it. Is this the way your couches are supposed to be made? Are they SUPPOSE to break the first time they are used? I am bitterly disappointed since i bought the couch and chair as Christmas gifts. I BETTER not have any problems getting a new couch that WILL NOT break and if the store gives me any flack, i will be an exploding person to whoever i talk to. So get ready American Furniture and Jake Jabs. I will be calling you tomorrow.
